Ancienne cit\u00e9 seigneuriale, elle est bord\u00e9e par la mer int\u00e9rieure de Seto et est connue pour ses vergers alentours, principalement vou\u00e9s \u00e0 la culture des p\u00eaches qui sont renomm\u00e9es dans tout le Japon<\/p>\n<p>On acc\u00e8de rapidement \u00e0 Okayama depuis<span>&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wonderful-japan.com\/fr\/tokyo\/\">Tokyo<\/a><span>&nbsp;<\/span>en avion, avec quelques compagnies a\u00e9riennes qui assurent la liaison directe (1h15 de vol). On peut \u00e9galement la rejoindre en train en prenant le<span>&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wonderful-japan.com\/fr\/shinkansen\/\">Shinkansen<\/a>&nbsp;(ligne Tokaido\/Sanyo), le trajet dure environ 4h.<\/p>\n<p>Okayama comporte quelques sites d\u2019envergure, comme le somptueux jardin Koraku-en, l\u2019un des trois plus beaux jardins du Japon (avec les jardins Kenroku-en \u00e0<span>&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wonderful-japan.com\/fr\/kanazawa\/\">Kanazawa<\/a><span>&nbsp;<\/span>et Kairaku-en \u00e0 Mito). Ce jardin situ\u00e9 au milieu du fleuve Asahi a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9rig\u00e9 au tournant du 18<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup><span>&nbsp;<\/span>si\u00e8cle et a longuement servi de jardin de repos aux daimyo (seigneurs du Japon f\u00e9odal) avant d\u2019\u00eatre d\u00e9truit lors des bombardements de la 2<sup>nde<\/sup><span>&nbsp;<\/span>Guerre Mondiale, puis reconstruit \u00e0 l\u2019identique. On y trouve notamment le Pavillon Enyo-Tei, o\u00f9 on pourra admirer la vue sur la colline Yuishinzan et le mont Misao&nbsp;; le lac Kayo-no-ike et ses chutes d\u2019eau&nbsp;; ou encore le Pont Yatsuhashi.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019autre grande curiosit\u00e9 touristique de Okayama est son ch\u00e2teau noir, surnomm\u00e9 le Ch\u00e2teau corbeau (U-Jo), datant du 16<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup><span>&nbsp;<\/span>si\u00e8cle (et ayant, comme le jardin, \u00e9t\u00e9 reconstruit apr\u00e8s les bombardements de 1945). Le dernier \u00e9tage du ch\u00e2teau dispose d\u2019une vue imprenable sur le jardin Koraku-en.<\/p>\n<p>Le jardin et le ch\u00e2teau \u00e9tant situ\u00e9s en face l\u2019un de l\u2019autre, on conseille en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral une journ\u00e9e pour visiter Okayama. On peut \u00e9galement profiter d\u2019une balade dans la ville \u00e0 travers les rues anciennes d\u2019Okayama, et admirer les b\u00e2timents de l\u2019\u00e9poque d\u2019Edo, notamment la r\u00e9sidence samoura\u00ef Ashimori. La saison id\u00e9ale pour visiter la ville est la saison des cerisiers en fleurs (sakura) car le parc est encore plus beau \u00e0 cette p\u00e9riode.<\/p>\n<p>Les touristes de passage \u00e0 Okayama profitent en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de leur visite pour aller voir la ville de<span>&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wonderful-japan.com\/fr\/kurashiki\/\">Kurashiki<\/a><span>&nbsp;<\/span>connue pour son canal navigable et son quartier historique de Bikan. La ville d\u2019Imbe, connue pour ses tr\u00e8s nombreux ateliers et galeries de poterie Bizen, l\u2019un des styles de c\u00e9ramique les plus anciens du Japon, n\u2019est pas loin non plus. Au sud, le grand pont de Seto qui relie l\u2019\u00eele de Shikoku \u00e0 celle de Honshu offre un beau panorama sur la mer de Seto, et faisant d\u2019Okayama un carrefour important de la r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n<p>Dans la culture populaire japonaise, Okayama est associ\u00e9e au conte de Momotaro, le gar\u00e7on dit tomb\u00e9 du ciel dans une p\u00eache.
