Asakusa

Tokyo

Asakusa is a famous neighborhood located on the left side of the Sumida river. It is particularly known for its shopping lanes – some of them more traditional than others – or for its departures from the Tokyo Rikisha (Tokyo’s rickshaws). You can also go for a walk in the Sumida park which follows the river’s side from the Azumabashi bridge and whose cherry trees blossom every spring.
