Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse is a good example witnessing the time Hakodate was a major seaport used for international trade. Since then, those huge buildings have been restored and adapting to remain up to date: a shopping mall by the sea, with souvenir shops, restaurants, events – the whole thing in a friendly atmosphere.
