Kanazawa

Nagamachi is the samourais’ former residential neighborhood in Kanazawa. Heritage of a former age, this historical place splits in several streets, all bordered by ochre earth walls. This neighborhood retains ancient estates which used to belong to Maeda clan’s vassals, and include some open to the public.
