Considered as preserved, Saga Toriimoto is a narrow street set back from Kyoto, along which you will see several machiya (urban and traditional wooden houses) including ones with beautiful gardens. Today, they are mainly used as Japanese restaurants and shops. Perfect for a short walk or a lunch break in a semi-rural environment.
