Odaiba is a huge artificial island located in Tokyo Bay, on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge, and which was used as battery to defend the city against navy attacks in the 19th century. Nowadays, it is one of the numerous places of amusement in Tokyo, including some attractions as the Fuji TV building, designed by the architect Kenzo Tange, or a reproduction of Gundam, an immense 18-meter tall robot.
